Flagship Forwarding coordinated the international shipment of a heavy generator unit weighing over 100,000 lbs. The cargo required specialized handling from arrival through to final delivery.
Upon arrival in the United States, the generator was offloaded using heavy-lift crane equipment and prepared for inland transport. Due to its size and weight, the shipment required multi-state permitting and route planning.
The generator was successfully transported across 14 states, with full compliance and coordination, and delivered safely to the end client.
Transporting extremely heavy cargo introduces multiple constraints, including lifting requirements, route restrictions, and permitting across different jurisdictions. Each stage must be tightly coordinated to avoid delays.
Our team managed crane operations, secured all required permits, and planned a compliant route to ensure safe and efficient delivery.
